Reports to: Aquatic Program/Concession Manager

The City of St. Ann is hiring Part-Time Aquatic Center Concession attendants.   If you enjoy working in a team environment, this job is for you! Benefits include free pool privileges, community center and golf starting day one of your hiring.

Primary Purpose: To maintain professional appearance and functionality of St. Ann’s Aquatic Center and Concession stand. Primary duties include preparation of food and sales during pool hours.

Description of Work:

  • Work will begin in mid-May and continue through the end of the pool season. (Labor Day) Schedules will be modified to adjust for weekend hours to total and average of 20-29 hours per week.
  • Working with general public on daily basis
  • Some janitorial work
  • Hours can range from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination required

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions and follow all safety protocols. Be a team player while also being able to work independently. Punctuality and dependability is a must. Cash register procedures. 

Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 pounds for a short period of time. Able to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, grab, push, pull, and kneel for extended periods of time. Able to learn and operate multiple types of equipment.

Working Conditions: Work takes place inside, as well as outside for special events, programs, etc.
