Q: Do I need to file my Entry of Appearance separately from the Request for Recommendation?

A: Yes, as a result to recent legislation enacted by the State of Missouri, and in accordance with the recent amendments to Supreme Court Rule 37, in particular Rule 37.04 and it’s appendixes A and B. The following procedures and practices have been implemented for the Municipal Court.

Q: Where do I send my request for Recommendation?

A: Requests for recommendations must be sent in writing to the Prosecuting Attorney Office addressed as follows:

Q: When will I receive notification of the plea agreement/recommendation?

A: All recommendations will be mailed within 7 business days. The recommendation will indicate if an appearance is required. It is counsel’s responsibility to notify the defendant of the recommendation.

Q: Does the prosecutor recall warrants, issue continuances, or set aside guilty pleas?

A: No, please refer to the court tab for detailed instruction on motions.

Q: Where do I send payment?

A: Payments should be sent to the Court department at 10405 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, if paying by mail. Payments may also be made by phone, 1-877-793-7144, in person, or online at www.cmccourtpayments.com

Q: Where can my client attend defensive driving school (DDS)?

A: If they are required to attend for the City of St. Ann they may contact (636) 441-9002 for all available options. If for any of the other consolidated cities they may attend any state approved course. Most used are www.dwiprograms.com and www.dmv.org.
