To provide the highest level of protection and service to the community of St. Ann, through partnership with its citizens, and to provide that protection and service in a professional, ethical, honest and timely manner.

 

The St. Ann Police Department is a progressive agency of 36 sworn officers and 13 civilians.  The Police Department works to serve the community with many innovative programs, such as Citizens Police Academy, Dare Program, and CERT Program (Citizen Emergency Response Team), which covers Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Fire Suppression, Disaster Medical Operations, and Light Search and Rescue.

 

The Department also has many specialized units in which officers can participate.  These include (SRT Team) tactical team, (MEG Unit) focusing on drug activity, K-9 Unit, (SRO) School Resource Officer, and Dare Officer.  Additionally there are civilian support services to include communications, records, and jail facilities.
