Guidelines

As of February 14, 2014, the City of St. Ann will close the yard waste facility on Ashby Road indefinitely. Residents will no longer be able to drop off their own yard waste or pick up mulch and/or compost at this location.  

Resident yard waste will continue to be picked up by the City in the following manner:

  • Yard waste placed in roll out bins, marked with an “X”
  •  Leaves and grass clippings placed in approved biodegradable (paper) leaf bags, not weighing more than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Tree limbs bundled with twine (NOT wire), not longer than four (4) feet in length, not greater than two (2) feet in diameter and not weighing more than fifty (50) pounds.
  •  Logs not longer than four (4) feet in length, not greater than two (2) feet in diameter and not weighing more than fifty (50) pounds.
  •  Under no circumstance is garbage, trash, sod, dirt, rocks, or stones to be disposed of with yard waste. 
  • • Vegetation cut, trimmed, etc., by a tree service shall be hauled away by the tree service company. These items are not to be placed for City pick up.

 If your yard waste pick up date falls on a holiday, your yard waste will be picked up the following business day.
